PowerNet Global Announces Their New Associate Membership to CTIA

Cincinnati, OH, May 11, 2005 – PowerNet Global Communications, a leading integrated communications provider, announced today their official associate membership with Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association (CTIA). Through this new membership with CTIA PowerNet Global will gain access to a dynamic global wireless association representing wireless carriers, manufacturers, and suppliers.

“PowerNet Global is proud to be a member of CTIA. It will be an important resource to promote and advance our unique post-paid MVNO combined with our bundle of multiple services in the market. It will also benefit PowerNet by leveraging its unique capability to offer integrated MVNO enabling back-office and core network infrastructures in anticipation of new entering MVNOs and dramatically lower the barriers to entry with a pay-as-you-go model for organizations of any size to offer self-branded mobile services,” states Robert Nilsson, Vice President of Business Development, PowerNet Global.

PowerNet Global brings several aspects to CTIA that are beneficial to the organization and unmatched by its other members. PowerNet Global offers a complete post-paid MVNO with full call center and billing capabilities; it has a nationwide presence with a carrier license in all 50 states (Section 214); it offers a multiple service approach with cellular, long distance, local international, high-speed dial-up services all on one simple bill and couples that with unrivaled Customer Care. PowerNet also brings to the table a core network capability that is VoIP enabled.

“As wireless technologies continue to evolve, CTIA provides PowerNet Global a forum on which to stand among the leaders of the industry to observe and guide the future of our business. PowerNet’s combined MVNO and VoIP network along side of our CTIA membership provides a unique opportunity to respond to the demands of the next generation consumer,” states Mike Shaw, Vice President of Product Management and Network Solutions.
