| Primary Responsibilities |
Responsible for the creation and lifecycle management of core products that meet the needs of PNG’s Carrier Wholesale Customers and delivers profit to the company. This position is the foundation for thorough, cross-functional development, and profitable management of all Carrier products both Domestic and International. This position will concentrate on optimizing the profits within the Carrier Business Unit and work with the Operations, International Carrier Relations Managers, Carrier Development Manager and Product and Sales Engineer to create value in the Domestic and International arenas. The position will also assist in managing the Domestic Vendor relations as well as interact with other departments within PNG in doing the same role. |

| Additional Responsibilities |
| Be an expert of the Carrier market; translate this expertise into product development direction and ultimately saleable product propositions Lead the development of a complete Product business model, defining the product itself (i.e. features and benefits), the cross-functional processes required to deliver it, and the financial impact to the company/customer Source and develop new Domestic Carrier Vendors Review Domestic NOC Tickets and work with the Carrier Team for Resolution Temp Tickets, COS Tickets and looping) Monitor and work with Network and Engineering to maintain adequate Network and Vendor Capacity Work with new and existing Vendors to lower costs and improve quality statistics Involve and engage inter-departmental resources, and champion product ideas. Cross-functional coordination includes Engineering, BAS, Finance/Accounting/Tax, Sales, Marketing, Customer Care organizations, etc. Support product development efforts with market research. Assess and analyze data (i.e. market trends, technology trends), translate data into insights (i.e. competitive analysis, product positioning), and provide a recommendation about how to bring to market (or not at all). This requires the ability to research, glean insights, create financial models (via Excel), and present both information and recommendations in an effective and efficient manner. Perform Vendor and Customer Analysis Provide Target Rates for potential vendors Review GSC and Cost Engine Reports for Profitablilty Prioritize development work, balancing the need to fix/optimize existing products while creating new products to fill market opportunities. Assist in maintaining and updating Sharepoint and Salesforce Domestic Rate Updates Adding Domestic/Intl Vendors and Customers into Orcawave and Cost Engine Work with Engineering to develop launch plans, including communication strategies, product messaging, and positioning. |

| Requirements |
| 4-year college degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience, training in technical fields a positive. Significant experience in the wholesale carrier telecommunications industry; direct experience with managing wholesale carrier telecommunications products, customers and vendors Experience in product launches, preferably in leadership positions (work group or functional). Project management experience and aptitude in systemic thinking/planning Self-motivated, and able to break down large, complex projects into discrete steps Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in envisioning cross-functional stakeholders, facilitating groups, and driving to a decision Strong/expert skills with MS-Office software- Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
