Position: Support Engineer
Department: BAS
Location: Cincinnati Oh
Primary Responsibilities

Provide Level 1 support to our corporate end users for mission critical and internally developed applications

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support and promote the mission, values and principles of PowerNet Global Communications.
  • Troubleshoot mission critical and internally developed applications
  • Frequently write queries as requested using Microsoft Access and/or Microsoft SQL Server Query Analyzer.
  • Act as an interface between our corporate end users, BAS team members and, when applicable, selected software partner’s technical support staff
  • Support may be provided via electronic media, telephone and/or written correspondence

  • Requirements

  • A solid understanding of computer science concepts
  • Technical proficiency in relevant operating systems, relational database management systems, and applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Complex problem solving skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
